Marlas Greenspace Community Hub is a welcome addition to our other projects.
With fences all around we are in the process of converting what was fly tipping hotspot for over ten years, into a much loved garden for the whole community.
We have many projects on the go, some complete while some others are yet to begin.
A pond built from old tractor tyres will eventually attract many visitors in the form of insects, birds and hopefully frogs
Large planters built with sleepers made by our wonderful volunteers and Keep Wales Tidy, are being used to grow a wide range of vegetables and herbs
A cob oven built from concrete blocks will become a cooking area for all to utilise and enjoy
Tackling the brambles within the Hub garden and outside making it safer for everyone
Guttering to channel the rain into water containers, making sure we have supplies for watering everything we grow
A play area surrounded by colourful tyres painted by our younger volunteers will become a central point for children once complete
A wildflower patch with a path running through for the wildlife and locals alike to enjoy
Tyre planters made by the children, for the use of the children
A willow dome will become a feature of the garden with seating for our community
